I was very saddened to hear Jak Trueman’s story earlier this year. Jak passed away on 2nd February 2015 after a battle with a rare and aggressive form of cancer – Gamma Delta T-Cell Lymphoma. Jak’s family set up Team Jak in his memory with a view to raising enough money to open a new centre (Jak’s Den) for young cancer sufferers and their families (for more info visit teamjak.co.uk). Having heard his story, and learning about the type of person Jak was, I thought he might have appreciated a fun-filled photo shoot to raise money for his charity. So, on Saturday 28th November, I ran ‘Jumpers on for Jak’, encouraging everyone to don their Christmas jumper and have their picture taken. It was a really fun day and we raised £280 for Team Jak. Here are some of the photos to make you smile!
